Dear Parents,

During September and October, Suzhou Foreign Language School is having a reading festival. Our International Department will hold a special reading event on the first week that we return to school after the Golden Week holiday.

This festival is held to encourage all of the students in our elementary school with their reading and to develop their interest in this subject. As we believe that this will help them in all aspects of their study, we are asking for some assistance from you with this festival.

We would really appreciate your help in getting tents and picnic mats to use for the event. We will use these for 2 or 3 days and then return them to your child. We would also like to ask for each student to donate 3 books from the recommended book list or any books that you feel are appropriate. These books will be placed in the class library for the students to read.

If you have any questions please feel free to talk to your foreign teacher in regards of this event.

   Thank you for your support.
